For forty years Bernadette Ruffin provided financial services as an accountant, financial manager and finally as a budget analyst. Her skills in financial management are a gift from God. Bernadette Ruffin made financial decisions and choices as a child without instruction. Her financial acumen was as natural as walking or talking. She opened her first bank account in middle school and maintained that account until that bank went out of business after 110 years of servicing the Washington DC metropolitan area. At that time Bernadette Ruffin opened another account that she still maintains to this date.
The high school Bernadette Ruffin attended offered diplomas in many different fields of study including business. She did not hesitate to take that path. She graduated with a diploma in Business Administration and maintained a 3.8 GPA. Subsequently, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Ultimately, she acquired a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
For forty years Bernadette Ruffin provided financial services for various governmental agencies including the Department of Commerce, Department of Energy and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Her expertise is in preparation and structuring of budgets as well as analysis and financial projections.
Bernadette Ruffin’s’ financial judgment she had in her professional life was inevitably applied to her personal life. This allowed her to successfully manage her household finances and budget.
